Liedl’s
House In preparation for Jerry’s retirement from Purdue, a new house was constructed in Carriage Park on top of the mountain all nestled into the woods with views of the Pisgah Mountains. Following upon the guiding principal of NO GRASS, the exterior is a collection of rocks, trees, perennials, and ponds with some mulch. The
interior was designed to satisfy the needs of Carol for her painting, quilting,
and needlework as well as for Jerry’s desire to finally be able to do fun
things with computers. Of course the need for relaxation is also satisfied with
two levels of decks for meditation. Throughout the year all the special events generate the opportunity for other insights into the Liedl family and their friends. Holidays and seasons are two such events. |
