The year 2016 came with the surprise wedding of the year. Emilee Cantieri and Jerry Liedl tied the knot with only immediate family being aware of it except for the minister and the clerk of court. Barbar Liedl and Catherine Cantieri were the witnesses. The ceremony was held at Grace Lutheran Church on Saturday May 28th with the Pastor Greg Williams conducting the service. The Sunday social group had no idea what had happened and could not understand why we brought champaign for the group as well as a cake for dessert. Writing on the cake was a dead give-away.
